CATHEDRAL BASILICA
Considered the richest of all Luso-Brazilian Baroque art is internal and externally coated in stone limestone , has two towers and domes wooden ceiling . In its facade can be seen images of three Jesuit saints , to be there the fourth temple of the Jesuit College . Inside, the altar carvings tell the story of the evolution of architectural styles in Bahia .

PETER CHURCH OF CLERGY
Built in the early nineteenth century , has aisles and overlapping pulpit . Its façade is late Rococo interior decoration and presents a transition between the Rococo and Neoclassical , with large panel on the roof , in addition to the main altar .

CHURCH OF THE THIRD ORDER OF SANTO DOMINGO
Completed six years after its inception , the facade has Rococo and Neoclassical current hoist . Have aisles and overlapping pulpit . The roof of the nave is an illusionist concept , tiles in the Main Chapel of St. Dominic portraits are displayed .

CHURCH OF SAN FRANCISCO
Considered one of the richest churches in the country , has the entire interior covered in gold. Tile panels tell the story of the birth of Saint Francis and his renunciation of material goods . The central nave , crossed by another smaller , forms a cross . The paintings exalt Our Lady and have shapes of stars , hexagons and octagons . In the sacristy , 18 oil paintings on the life of St. Francis are gathered .

CHURCH AND CONVENT OF THE THIRD ORDER OF SAN FRANCISCO
Neighbor of another church of San Francisco. Its facade carved in stone is the only copy in Brazil . For a long time , the facade was concealed with mortar and only in the early twentieth century, during the deployment of grid services in the area , has been rediscovered its original design .

CHURCH OF OUR LADY OF THE ROSARY OF BLACK
Its construction was started by the Brotherhood of Our Lady of the Rosary of Black Men of Pelourinho . The facade combines delicate work and beautiful towers . Stand out inside the tile panels , neo -classical altars and images of Our Lady of the Rosary , St. Anthony and St. Benedict of Cartegerona . In the back , located an old slave cemetery .

CHURCH OF THE BLESSED SACRAMENT
After a hundred years of built , suffered major internal changes in altarpieces trim and lining . To give more grandeur to the temple , staircase , which connects the church with the slope of Mount Carmel , was opened to the nineteenth century. Internally , we can highlight an ossuary located under the stairs .
